Education is the cornerstone of transformation, unlocking a world of possibilities beyond mere knowledge and skills acquisition. It empowers individuals, breaks the chains of poverty, nurtures social equality, improves health outcomes, fuels civic engagement, drives sustainable development, and safeguards cultural heritage. Our Education for All program embodies these principles and encompasses:
1- Menstrual Hygiene Programme: Partnering with government-aided primary schools to provide a lifeline to girls from primary four to primary seven. We distribute free reusable sanitary pads, offering more than just hygiene. We empower girls to attend school regularly, enhancing their academic performance and ensuring a brighter future.
2- Tusobola Centre for Special Needs Model Unit: Our model unit stands as a beacon of inclusivity in the community. It champions the rights of people with special needs (PWSN), breaking down barriers through disability sensitization, basic education for children with special needs, physiotherapy, advocacy, livelihood training for caregivers, and referrals. It creates an environment where individuals with special needs can network and fulfill their immense potential.
3- Adult Education: We empower women in rural Uganda with essential literacy, numeracy, and financial management skills. This not only promotes gender equity but also paves the way for economic independence, enabling active participation in community development.
